SWELL

I was also made to think that it is true. Art, music and films are all made to make your heart grow bigger, positively bloated. Those days when you heart is not in sight, maybe your belly could bloat. Art is made to make your guts bloat. Just like when frogs do their mating call (is that the case?), I wish I could visibly swell when things touch me.
Maybe is the same effect that a new relationship has. The period of honeymonneing is very similar. One finds herself visibly bloated at the potentiality within the joy of discovery.
This is why I stopped making art for a little while. Because art that does not generate this in he/she who experiences it, makes no sense. You might as well take your extra trash and pile it with all the excess out there.

Manny Torres would say things like that. Reason why he loves shamanism, because every object, artifact and art piece had a purpose.

Art should have a purpose, in shamanism is healing. I used to like thinking that my art could heal. If anything it healed me and my mom. But hey, why use the
words "at least"? two is plenty. Who gets a chance to heal people nowadays?
